Compared with the booming car market, the MPV field that we don’t pay much attention to is not deserted at all. Nissan is a big company in this field, but at present this NV200 can’t be called MPV, but it is only a branch of it. We call it CDV, which is simply a minivan. However, the NV200 brought by Zhengzhou Nissan not only has the characteristics of the same class, but also has a little comfortable configuration, which makes us have to adopt a new standard to measure it, and whether it meets your standard or not, you can make a decision after reading the following.
The NV200 for this test drive is a 2011 Zunya version. The 2011 model only adds three models with slightly upgraded configurations on the basis of the 2010 model, namely, the Zunya version with 223 seats and the 232 seats, and a top-mounted distinguished version.
The 2011 Zunya version of the car has not changed much in appearance, and the material of the bumper can still be seen from the paint technology. The fog lights still didn’t appear on the configuration list, and the position of the fog lights on the bumper was sealed. We caught up with the rare torrential rain in Beijing during the test drive of NV200 for a few days, and deeply realized the importance of fog lights.
The Zunya version of the car has added aluminum alloy wheels, which makes the appearance of the whole car look more refined and upscale. The window on the back door can’t rise and fall like an ordinary car, but it can only open a small slit to the outside, so that the purpose of ventilation can be achieved, but when the weather is hot, only the air conditioner can be turned on.
The square tail may look a little stiff, but this angular design can ensure the maximum internal space, and the passengers in the car will benefit from it. The chrome-plated decoration at the tail enhances the grade sense of NV200, and the taillights are also designed to be more lively, which is obviously different from the low-priced "small noodles" in temperament.
Appearance has not changed.
The interior design is mainly practical, and the overall tone of the interior is mainly dark, with gray to increase the layering. The craftsmanship is not very delicate but not rough, which is in line with the positioning of NV200. The steering wheel is a Nissan family standard three-position style, and most of Nissan’s models adopt this steering wheel style.
At first glance, the dashboard thought that NV200 had no speed display, but it was not. The multifunctional LCD screen on the right side can not only display practical information such as cruising range, average fuel consumption and instantaneous fuel consumption, but also display engine speed, but it can’t display other information when displaying speed. This car-mounted computer with rich functions once made me envious (editing self-driving prestige), and it is really a very practical configuration.
This CD head is also mounted on Dongfeng Nissan cash Converse model, and the storage compartment on it is also from the same mold. Although the style of this CD player from Dalian Panasonic is no different from that mounted on some Dongfeng Nissan models two years ago, its function has been strengthened, not only with the function of automatically searching for radio stations, but also with the AUX interface, which is not available to Converse purchased by the editor in early 2009.
The configuration of NV200 is not luxurious, but most of them are very practical, such as the headlight height adjustment knob on the left side of the steering wheel. NV200, the rear window wiper, has not been forgotten. Compared with the previous luxury version, the Zunya version adds a headrest to the rear seat.
The storage space in the car is very abundant and large. A few bottles of mineral water can be put in the added central storage compartment of the Zunya version, and such a hidden design can also be used to place valuables. Because the thickness of the door panel is not enough, the storage compartment of the door is very narrow, and only some articles such as magazines and newspapers can be placed.
The interior configuration is practical but not luxurious.
Sitting in the front row of NV200, there is no need to worry about the placement of personal belongings. The storage space at the top of the center console and the glove box is very large. Almost all the supplies we need for this week’s outdoor shooting work are placed on NV200, and there is no dilemma because of the storage space.
Not only is the cup holder used by the second row of passengers arranged on the side sliding door, but also two cup holders which can be hidden on the liner are cleverly designed for the third row of passengers. There is a storage compartment on the left and right sides in the trunk, which can hold some tools or objects that are easy to roll.
The advantage of mini-buses like NV200 lies in the ample seating space. Needless to say, the tall and wide front row has a high sitting position and a very wide field of vision, but the seat lacks support. The three adults sitting in the second row are not crowded, which has obvious advantages over ordinary cars.
It takes a little more effort for passengers in the third row to get on and off the bus, but the sitting posture and space are comparable to those in the second row. Even this 232-arrangement seat layout will make the third row have a larger lateral movement range than the second row, and the third row seat is definitely not a decoration on the NV200.
In the case that all three rows of seats are occupied, there is still a certain space in the trunk of NV200, which is enough for daily use. Since the manufacturer has positioned NV200 for both business and home use, it can naturally expand more abundant cargo space. The third row of seats can be folded to both sides, and the second row of seats can be overturned forward. The lanyard on the seat can fix the seat in its present position without being affected during driving.
Excellent riding and loading ability
NV200 uses the HR16 engine familiar to domestic consumers, with a displacement of 1.6L, a maximum of 113 HP and a maximum torque of 150 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is an engine with high speed output. At present, there is only one NV200 with 5-speed manual transmission. Due to the cost problem, the NV200 equipped with automatic transmission can only be launched according to customer feedback. However, we have received an invitation from Zhengzhou Nissan to test drive Shuaike automatic transmission models. I believe that if the market needs automatic transmission NV200, it will also be available soon.
The driving of NV200 minibus will never pursue any sportiness, and more experience lies in whether its driving experience is relaxed and comfortable, and whether it controls the roll and swing of the body with high center of gravity properly.
NV200 has a high clutch contact and a wide range of joint points. The clutch has a large tolerance for the driver, so it is very suitable for this model. The accelerator, brake and clutch pedal are relatively light, and so is the steering power system. Driving NV200 is a very easy task. HR16 engine can provide enough power to drive NV200 easily, even after the speed reaches 3000 rpm, there will be some small surprises, and overtaking on the road is effortless.
Compared with editing your own Qianwei, the steering system of NV200 is more fuzzy, which is not caused by any cost control or imprecision. Friends who have driven similar models (regardless of size) can understand that this kind of car has a high center of gravity, and it will also be soft to train for the comfort of shock absorbers. Too much movement will make the body shake strongly, but the steering system is not very safe because it is too sensitive.
At first, I was worried that the leaf spring, a form of shock absorption that emphasizes the load capacity, would make the NV200 less comfortable, but the actual experience of sitting in the back row should be said to be acceptable. Nissan’s training ability has better guaranteed the comfort of the NV200, and the supporting force that can be provided in corners is better than expected. The feeling of bouncing is really inevitable, but it has been restrained in an acceptable range.
After reading the above, the price of NV200 has naturally become the focus of attention. The price from 798-122,800 yuan seems to exceed many people’s expectations. But in retrospect, is our standard too low? Or is the progress of the times about to eliminate us? Maybe everything has started to update.
