This kind of service takes "expedited door-to-door sampling, convenient, quick and professional" as the propaganda slogan, and is provided for people who are in urgent need of nucleic acid certification or inconvenient to appear in public, and the price is not low.
Take Alipay Ali’s health nucleic acid testing applet as an example. Beijing door-to-door nucleic acid testing includes "individual door-to-door" and "group door-to-door". Among them, the price of individual inspection ranges from 200 yuan to 2000 yuan, and the total price of group inspection is at least 442 yuan /2 people and at most 20200 yuan /1000 people.
Although the unmet demand for nucleic acid detection of special population is attracting some medical examination enterprises to participate in the end, the small audience and small market are also the problems faced by this kind of business. In addition, recently, many enterprises denied providing high-priced on-site nucleic acid detection group inspection services, and the content, price and risk of such services attracted much attention.

National business daily reporter recently inquired about the major Internet platforms, such as Meituan, Dianping, Alipay, Taobao, JD Health and Ping An Health, and found that the on-site nucleic acid testing service providers stationed in each platform are not the same, but they all have the characteristics of unspecific service description, large price range span and more favorable group inspection price.
For example, in Alipay Ali’s health nucleic acid testing applet, Beijing door-to-door nucleic acid testing service providers include squirrel quick test, bird quick test and Lejian quick test, all of which are marked as private institutions, with 32 stores, 50 stores and 40 stores respectively.
From the perspective of institutional qualification, Squirrel Quick Test corresponds to Beijing Aidikang Medical Laboratory, and Lejian Quick Test corresponds to Beijing Aina Medical Laboratory. The corresponding testing institutions all appeared in the list of qualified institutions approved by Beijing COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Detection Medical Laboratory in April. However, the bird quick test only disclosed the name of the medical institution of "Beijing Bode Love Clinic" and could not confirm its corresponding medical laboratory.
Judging from the appointment time, except for the single-person nucleic acid door-to-door sampling service, which is priced at 211 yuan, which shows that "there is no appointment time within two months", the single-person door-to-door nucleic acid testing and group door-to-door nucleic acid testing of the other two companies can make an appointment on the same day or the next day.
From the price point of view, the price of individual on-site nucleic acid testing service ranges from 200 yuan to more than 2,000 yuan, which is mainly composed of single-person single-tube testing fee and comprehensive on-site service fee. Even the same on-site nucleic acid detection service provider, its price range span is very large.
Take the door-to-door nucleic acid detection service provided by Squirrel Quick Inspection for individuals as an example. Among them, there are 2 items below 300 yuan, 3 items from 300 yuan to 500 yuan, and 2 items from RMB 1,500 to RMB 2,500. However, the descriptions of the services are completely consistent, except for the different names of the services, and the differences in service contents are not clearly shown in the product details.
It is sometimes difficult for consumers to distinguish the differences of service contents only from the differences of names of various projects. But there is no doubt that the testing time has become an important factor affecting the pricing of such products. For example, Squirrel Quick Check is priced at 1800 yuan and 2500 yuan, and the main difference is that the sampling time of the former is from 18: 00 to 22: 00, while that of the latter is from 22: 00 to 24: 00. In the door-to-door service of nucleic acid detection in Star Porcelain Medical Service franchise store of Taobao shop (hereinafter referred to as Star Porcelain Medical), the night rush fee is 500 yuan, and the transportation fee in remote areas is 500 yuan.
This means that the distance between the door-to-door location and the testing institution will also affect the cost of the door-to-door testing service.

The other party said that the testing contents of each item of personal home nucleic acid testing service in Beijing are the same, and customers can check the test results in Beijing Health Treasure, and the test results can be issued within 24 hours. However, if the price is 200 yuan (around), you need to make an appointment 1~2 days in advance, and you can’t make an appointment on the same day; 500 yuan (left and right) can make an appointment on the same day, that is, in the afternoon; The other more expensive items are night visits. "Group purchase" door-to-door nucleic acid testing is cheaper.

In fact, the on-site nucleic acid detection service is not new. As early as last year, there were third-party testing institutions stationed in the Internet platform to carry out related business. For example, in early February, 2021, WeChat official account, a health WeChat of Tencent, issued a document saying that COVID-19’s nucleic acid testing reservation platform was newly upgraded to provide on-site collective nucleic acid testing services in 102 cities including Beijing and Fuzhou.
It is worth noting that third-party testing institutions undertake government nucleic acid testing orders, and the number of single-person testing at peak times is over 10,000. In contrast, although the door-to-door nucleic acid testing market is subdivided, the business scale is relatively small.
For example, the nucleic acid detection service is the best-selling product of Star Porcelain Medical in Taobao platform, and its monthly sales volume is only 37%, which is the highest monthly sales of nucleic acid detection service that can be searched in Taobao platform with "door-to-door nucleic acid" as the key word.

According to the reporter’s observation, the expensive on-site nucleic acid testing service has not yet been rolled out in the whole country, and first-tier cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are still the main positions to carry out such services. For example, the product categories of on-site nucleic acid testing of Star Porcelain Medical only mention 10 large cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Nanjing.
Many companies deny it.
Provide high-priced on-site nucleic acid group inspection service
The reporter noticed that there are many large-scale nucleic acid testing institutions and listed companies in various publicity maps of home nucleic acid testing services.
Take Xingci Medical as an example, the posters of its home nucleic acid testing service include three listed companies: Huace Testing (300012)(300012, SZ), Huada Gene (300676, SZ) and Jinyu Medicine (603882)(603882, SH).
On the afternoon of the 4th, the reporter called the customer service telephones of Jinyu Medical and Huada Gene successively, and learned that Jinyu Medical provided personal home nucleic acid testing service in Beijing, but the customer had to bear the personnel and vehicle costs in 1000 yuan in addition to the routine testing costs. Because the subsidiaries of Jinyu Medical are all independently operated, they may not all provide on-site services in other cities; However, Huada Gene does not provide on-site nucleic acid testing services to individuals and teams in Beijing, but only provides group on-site nucleic acid testing services in Shanghai.
It is worth mentioning that recently, third-party testing institutions and medical examination enterprises have come forward to refute the rumors of "providing nucleic acid testing group purchase services with large price differences".
For example, on June 2nd, WeChat official account, a medical micro-channel of Baoteng, issued a document saying that the company has never initiated or authorized any unit to carry out the group purchase business of nucleic acid testing, and denied that "many communities where Baoteng Medical Laboratory is located provide group purchase services with different contents, prices and service forms".
On June 2nd, Mei Nian Health (002044) posted a message on WeChat WeChat official account to clarify that "Shanghai Mei Nian Da Health’s VVIP/VIP Fast Nucleic Acid Detection Service Poster" was posted on the Internet, saying that the relevant content was the draft plan proposed by Shanghai Mei Nian Da Health Company in mid-April this year to meet the urgent and temporary needs of some high-end customers. However, due to the small market audience, the service plan was not introduced to the market, and the plan was terminated on April 20th. Mei Nian Health also stated in the article that the third-party nucleic acid testing institutions currently cooperating with Shanghai Mei Nian Da Health Company are Shanghai Decode Medical Laboratory Co., Ltd., Shanghai Golden Key Medical Laboratory Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Aidikang Medical Laboratory Co., Ltd.; In nucleic acid detection service, 19 yuan/person for group and apheresis door-to-door service; Mixed mining service fee 4.5 yuan/person.
For the risk of on-site nucleic acid testing services, relevant departments have also reminded. According to a report by our Su Net in March this year, the staff of the COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Command in Yuhuatai District of Nanjing City said that citizens can try their best to go to public medical institutions for nucleic acid testing.
