Social Media and Information Cocoon Room: Why the Internet is full of rage today?

As a person who has been wandering around the Internet for a long time, the current network gives me the feeling that there is too much hostility. No matter whether it is Weibo, WeChat WeChat official account, bilibili or Zhihu, there are fewer and fewer quality articles, and peaceful discussions are becoming scarcer and scarcer, and there are many sides and emotional confrontations everywhere. People are more and more inclined to form their own small circles. Everyone only entertains themselves in small circles, and they are more and more exclusive to dissidents.

In the era of forums and post bars, there are a lot of dry goods on the Internet, and people with different views can often hold public discussions and gradually reach a consensus in the debate. However, after the rise of Weibo, WeChat, headlines and other media, people tend to form their own small circles, and people often entertain themselves in small circles, forming information cocoons. The public discussion function of the network tends to die.

First, the forum and post bar era, the golden age of online discussion

Not to mention entertainment, if we only talk about serious topics such as history and politics, the forum and post bar era is undoubtedly the golden age of online discussion. At that time, high-quality posts abound, and you can always see different opinions and arguments below. The dry goods of post bars and forum posts are far from being comparable to those of Zhihu, WeChat official account, Toutiao and Weibo today.

There are two reasons for this situation. First, there were relatively few netizens at that time, and the average education was high. After the popularity of smart phones, a large number of people, even middle school students and primary school students, could participate in public discussions, and the average quality of netizens decreased.

But more importantly, forums, post bars and blogs promote public discussion. Forums have huge organizational rules, high entry threshold and various functions. Blogs encourage writing long articles and are suitable for in-depth discussion. Post bars, as a simplified version of the forum, push this form to the public.

I used to hang out with Post Bar for a long time. I was a frequent visitor to Cold Weapon Bar, Medieval Bar, Trump Bar (blocked) and the attacking giant bar. Compared with today’s social media, the public discussion function of Post Bar is powerful. Everyone can speak freely under the post of Post Bar, and different people’s opinions can be well presented. In addition, Post Bar has an extremely perfect management system, with bar owners, bar owners Jr., video editor, photo editor and many other positions. The whole bar management is equivalent to a quasi-bureaucratic organization.

Bar owners’s choice needs two conditions. One is the experience value, which is often accumulated by signing in and posting. The higher the experience value, the more active the candidate is. At the same time, bar owners candidates need to get Baidu’s official approval to ensure that they have no violations. After bar owners takes office, he can appoint bar owners Jr. and photo editor to form his own bar service team. In addition, bar owners can also formulate group rules. For example, the cold weapon bar requires that if you want to post in the bar, you must reach level 4 or above, which prevents simple spraying. Bar owners and George W. bar owners have the power to manage the bar, but they are often checked and balanced by Baidu officials. This management model has promoted public discussion.

At that time, what I stayed most was the cold weapon bar, the Trump bar and the attacking giant bar. Two of them would discuss politics and history, but they could tolerate dissidents. For example, although the cold weapon bar often draws on the emperor, if it is an emperor who pays attention to historical materials and evidence, the bar service will never be restricted. For example, Trump, at that time, fans of Chuanfen and Hillary Clinton were incompatible, but neither side completely restricted the other party’s speech. The bar service was generally only banned from users who often swear, and normal discussions were never prohibited. At that time, there were public discussions every day in the bar, and everyone went to the external network to find articles and data to prove their views. The discussion was very enjoyable.

Another example is the attacking giant bar and the attacking giant analysis bar. Because it is anime content, it is suppressed by Baidu officials at least, so the space for discussion is also the largest. There are a lot of fine stickers. Everyone expresses their opinions below and analyzes the attacking giant incisively and vividly. As the only remaining post bar in the old era, the attacking giant analysis bar represents the style of the post bar era.

However, since the rise of Weibo, WeChat and Headline products, the discussion space on the Internet is getting smaller and smaller.

(giant analysis is the only remaining relic of the old times)

(After Baidu Post Bar was cleaned up, it completely declined. Before that, there were a lot of dry top posts in the cold bar, which was my historical enlightenment.)

Second, commercialization, recommendation algorithm and information cocoon room, the network began to circle.

Weibo rose in 2011. Since the trend of Internet in China began to change, the biggest innovation in Weibo was short and pithy. In the past, forums, post bars and blogs encouraged everyone to post nutritious boutique stickers, and everyone discussed them around them, but Weibo directly broke this rule. He limited the number of words to 140 at most. This pursuit of short and fast greatly reduced the quality of content, and people tended to attract attention rather than discuss issues, although Weibo recently cancelled it.

In addition to fast food, Weibo has also brought commercialization. The degree of commercialization in Weibo is extremely deep, and it is full of various marketing numbers, navy and advertisements. The biggest evil result of this commercialization is that public discussion has become a tool to make money. In the past, in forums and post bars, everyone discussed politics and current events only to discuss current events, and their differences were real differences of views. Nowadays, many big V’s are all about making money. In order to make money, they often deliberately stir up contradictions and create troubles. They will even say things that are completely contrary to their true position, except that they used to pretend to be well-known and earn money from hating the country, but now they pretend to be patriotic V and cut off patriotic traffic. This commercialization makes all political discussions become money-making games.

I sometimes go to twitter. Although the environment of twitter is not very good, it is still much better than that of Weibo. The storm of public opinion caused by Weibo is enough to make the world feel ashamed. I’m afraid this confusion is not necessarily the contradiction, but the commercial marketing intensifies the contradiction. Everyone is advocating public opinion for making money. If we don’t change this operating logic and just stick to supporting the system or opposing it, the internet environment in China will never improve.

Another fatal thing is the recommendation algorithm. No matter Taobao, Weibo or headline products, they all use the recommendation algorithm. They secretly collect your privacy, judge your preferences, and then keep recommending your favorite information to you. Since then, your information source has been completely controlled, and you will mistakenly think that the people with your opinion are the majority in China, and you can no longer see dissidents. Because you have always accepted a fixed point of view, you will lose the ability to accept different points of view after a long time.

Because the recommendation algorithm can be profitable efficiently, more and more platforms have begun to strengthen the algorithm, and even WeChat WeChat official account has begun to make headlines, and the algorithm has taken control of our brains.

Weibo, Toutiao and WeChat official account are all one-way interactions between users from the media. It is very difficult for users to discuss, and it is difficult for people with different views to communicate with each other. The only place with discussion space is WeChat group, but the management of WeChat group is too private, and the group owners generally don’t invite people who disagree with them. Others can’t get in without the consent of the group owners. In addition, the number of groups is limited, so the function of public discussion is far weaker than that of posting.

Commercialization, recommendation algorithm and privacy have finally formed the pattern of today’s network. Everyone is divided into one circle after another. Often, a big V brings its own audience and another big V brings its own fans. Big V only produces what fans want to see, and there are more and more differences between fans of different big Vs. Therefore, once public events break out or big social problems appear, there is neither communication channels nor communication between different groups.

If we just discuss entertainment, this kind of information cocoon room is harmless. However, for politics and current affairs, it is often the case that the stronger the people’s consensus is, the more problems can be solved. If the gap between people on these issues is getting bigger and bigger because of the Internet, the whole country will eventually be torn apart. Now the United States has tasted this evil result (social media has intensified political polarization since 2016). Our country has power control, but if it loses control, where will it go?

Internet should consider not only economic benefits, but also social benefits, and the control network should not be the content of control, but should change the logic of social media operation. If the logic of commercialization and recommendation algorithm is not modified, then no matter what position, it will become more and more extreme.

I hope that the future Internet can promote people’s mutual understanding, instead of intensifying the existing contradictions. Breaking the information cocoon room is good for everyone.

The evil consequences of the information cocoon room have already appeared in the United States.

Evaluation of Canon IXUS120 camera with 12.1 effective pixels

  Fashion elements permeate people’s hearts.

I have to say that the shape design of card-type digital camera has completely marched into the fashion line. If it is not a fashionable design style to take out a card machine now, it is probably a product of several years ago. The IXUS series digital cameras released by Canon this year are the main color series, and the body is made of all-metal design with excellent texture. Different from the bright colors of the previous generation IXUS 100, the four colors used in IXUS 120 are "calm", namely cool silver, deep black, quiet blue and gorgeous brown.

Canon IXUS120 IS

Canon IXUS 120 IS has further upgraded its performance while maintaining the slim design of the previous model. The optical zoom has been increased from 3 times to 4 times now, and a 28mm wide-angle end has been added. The lens focal length is equivalent to 28-112mm of a 35 mm camera, the maximum aperture is F2.8 (wide angle) /5.9 (telephoto), and the body thickness is 20mm (the thinnest part is 18.5 mm).

Pictured: Canon digital camera IXUS 120 IS

Canon IXUS 120 IS LCD screen has a size of 2.7 inches, and adopts 12.1 effective pixel CCD and DIGIC 4 image processor. It supports the shooting of 720P HD video and provides users with an HDMI output interface. The design of the top and bottom of Canon IXUS 120 IS is also relatively simple, including the battery/memory card hatch at the bottom, tripod jack, shutter/zoom button and power supply on it, which are one of the most simple functions we use every day.

  Elaborate detail design

The main function control panel of Canon IXUS 120 IS is concentrated on the back of the fuselage, including buttons such as video data interface to control the shooting mode, quality and mode of the camera. Let’s introduce it in detail below.

At the top is the interface of IXUS 120 IS. The whole machine only has two interfaces, namely HDMI interface and USB interface, which are convenient and practical, and the design is simple. However, there is no HDMI high-definition data cable attached at random, so consumers need to buy it themselves later, and the price is about 100 yuan.

Below the interface are the playback key and the shooting mode switching lever. The mode lever is divided into smart shooting, program shooting and camera shooting modes from top to bottom. Below them are five-dimensional directional buttons, which control the functions of exposure compensation, macro, flash mode and deletion/timing shooting respectively. The middle button has both the shortcut menu and the confirmation function. The bottom DISP. is the screen display button, and the MENU is the machine setting menu button.

Canon IXUS 120 IS uses a 760mA lithium-ion battery (2.9Wh) and supports SDHC memory card series. In normal shooting mode, it can provide the endurance of shooting about 200 photos.

Excellent performance with 28mm wide-angle end.

Canon IXUS 120 IS has a 28mm wide-angle 4x optical zoom lens, which is improved compared with the 33mm end of the previous generation IXUS 100 IS. Let’s show you the imaging area range of 28mm wide angle and 33mm end through schematic diagram.

The red boxes in the above pictures indicate the shooting area on IXUS 100 IS, but shooting on IXUS 200 IS machine can fully show it. Now more and more consumers begin to pay attention to the wide-angle range of the machine, and the 28mm wide angle of IXUS 120 IS can meet the shooting needs of consumers. The picture above shows the schematic diagram of the wide-angle end. Let’s enjoy the wide-angle sample of Canon IXUS 120 IS.

Large wide angle can not only shoot more elements in a limited range, but also have great advantages in reflecting large scenes. Canon IXUS 120 IS has no obvious image quality degradation around the wide-angle end, and the performance effect is good.

  Resolution and ISO represent moderation.

In this evaluation, we tested the imaging resolution of Canon IXUS 120 IS in CBSi China Laboratory. We used the program automatic mode at the wide-angle and telephoto ends of the camera to shoot the ISO12233 resolution plate at the highest optimal image quality, and tested the final score by HYres software.

At the same time, we also used the ISO of the camera to shoot the standard still stage to complete the sensitivity test. During the test, the author adopted the program automatic mode, automatic white balance and optimal highest quality shooting of Canon IXUS 120 IS camera, and intercepted the same area for comparison.

Pictured: Canon IXUS 120 IS telephoto end resolution test

Canon IXUS 120 IS shows obvious inherent problems of small cameras in resolution test-the difference between wide-angle end and telephoto end is obvious. The result of 2240 LW/PH at the wide-angle end has reached a high level, but we can find a slight dispersion phenomenon in the screenshot of the central area of the telephoto end. And in the actual shooting, it can be clearly felt that the effect of IXUS 120 IS wide-angle end is better than that of telephoto end.

Pictured: Canon IXUS 120 IS sensitivity test screenshot area

Pictured: Canon IXUS 120 IS sensitivity test screenshot

Canon IXUS 120 IS has a good image quality below ISO200. The camera not only has a good tolerance, but also has a pure picture. As the sensitivity rose to ISO400, IXUS 120 IS began to show its advantages over the previous products, and the photo quality was very close to the ISO200 of the previous camera. Although in ISO800 and ISO1600, the photo quality of Canon IXUS 120 IS still inevitably declined in an all-round way, but the photos did not appear mottled and color cast, and they still have certain usability after being reduced in size.

Menu control is easy to use.

Canon IXUS 120 IS menu design inherits the consistent design style of IXUS series. Simple and clear, each menu item has text for comments. Convenient for primary consumers to set up. First of all, let’s take a look at the interface display in its shooting state.

Pictured: Canon IXUS 120 IS standby interface.

We can see the shooting information from the LCD screen, such as the battery charge, the horizontal shooting direction of the camera below, the focus frame, the current shooting mode, the flash mode and the ISO value.

We can clearly understand the various menu configurations of the camera through the above animation display. The overall parameter design is relatively simple and easy to understand, so we will not introduce it too much. The menu of Canon IXUS 120 IS can be easily mastered by consumers in less than 10 minutes, which is more user-friendly.

Appreciation of 12.1 million pixel real shot proofs

Canon IXUS 120 IS has a 4x optical zoom system with an equivalent focal length of 28-112mm. You can shoot a photo file with 12.1 million effective pixels. With DIGIC 4 image processor, the image quality is even better. All the photos below can be clicked to enlarge and enjoy the original film.

Including the appreciation of the wide-angle proofs in front, and the indoor and outdoor proofs on this page, Canon IXUS 120 IS has excellent color reproduction and accurate automatic white balance. It has IS anti-shake ability, so it can basically ensure shooting with low sensitivity in a poorly lit room. Through observation, we found that when shooting Gao Fancha scene, Canon IXUS 120 IS will have slightly visible purple edge. The overall picture quality is maintained in a better range.

Canon IXUS 120 IS adopts DIGIC 4 image processor, which can shoot high-definition video files with 1280×720 30 frames/second, and with 28mm lens, it can shoot excellent wide-angle video files. Let’s show you its shooting ability. Netizens can preview the video first, and then choose the video they are interested in to download and enjoy the original film.

  Evaluation summary

Canon IXUS 120 IS is compact and stylish, with an all-metal body design and excellent feel. With a wide angle of 28mm, the performance is more outstanding. At the same time, it can shoot high-definition video at 1280×720 and 30 frames per second. The current market price of IXUS 120 IS in the early 2000 yuan. We believe that with the passage of time, the price of IXUS 120IS will be more cost-effective and will become one of the most competitive fashion card-type digital camera products in this price segment.

Interview with Chen Kun: Hotpot is another life in my parallel world.

??Special feature of 1905 film network Chen Kun in the room speaks Chongqing dialect, rides a motorcycle, puts a cigarette on his ear, and sits on a plastic stool to eat hot pot, which is so grounded. Although the little people in the great era staged a black humor full of coincidence, they also let the audience see the unpredictable and hopeless survival dilemma of ordinary people. Chen Kun admits that it is more difficult to interpret such a small person with realistic theme than his previous roles which are far away from life.

Although far away from the personable Jin Yanxi, the wild and evil "factory flower", the fairy-tale Zhong Kui and the mysterious Hu Bayi, Chen Kun’s transformation in "Hot Pot Hero" will not make the audience feel disobedient, which he attributed to the fact that he had seen people like Liu Bo when he was a child.

Chen Kun thinks that he and Liu Bo have many similarities: if he didn’t leave Beijing at the age of seventeen, he might have a high school education, lived with his mother in Chongqing, and did something petty for his life. The difference is that Chen Kun withdrew from the crowded and lengthy road and embarked on another road. Most teenagers did not have the courage to do so, but were caught in the torrent of youth, perhaps … … Open a hot pot restaurant with old classmates. He said these words countless times in the propaganda, but once again, talking about those scenes in the movie that coincide with childhood memories, Chen Kun still had tears in his eyes. He said that Liu Bo is another me in the parallel world.

In order to play this role well, Chen Kun sacrificed her face value, gained weight with her modeling, and didn’t wash her face. She was also injured when she was slapping and playing, and fell to the ground for two or three hours. Speaking of these, Chen Kun downplayed, "I don’t think there is any problem with being injured. I always feel that I have gained more than this." In recent years, Chen Kun, who gradually reduced his workload, said that he "didn’t want to make too much effort" and wanted to spend time on preparation and thinking. When asked why, Chen Kun said with a smile, "I think we should pay attention to taking one, unless it is especially poor, it will lower the standard a little, but it is ok now."

The following is an interview record:

1905 Movie Network: As a Chongqing native, do you still need to prepare for such a story that happened in Chongqing?

Chen Kun:This time I did shoot in my hometown. Except for the language, I have to spend more time thinking about it. This role is very difficult for me. Before, I played roles that were far away from our lives, such as Hu Bayi. Everyone didn’t know who Hu Bayi was. Although the book was well written, he was not with us. I really haven’t tried to play a realistic theme for a long time, and I am a nobody at the bottom, so this time it is relatively more difficult for me. There are several helpers, such as filming in my hometown. I can speak my hometown dialect when I was a child, which gives me some help and confidence. In fact, I feel more nervous from the perspective of creation than other roles. We have been actors for a long time, and we are always taken care of in Beijing, which is getting farther and farther away from the life level, but fortunately, I seem to have seen a lot of this role when I was a child.

1905 Movie Network: What clips in the film make you feel as if you have seen Liu Bo?

Chen Kun:In the movie, I knew that our house was on fire, and my mother kept hitting me, so I pushed them away and said my grandfather. I have a special feeling about that scene, because I remember that when I was a child, I grew up with my grandmother. Once I came home from school and heard my neighbor say that my grandmother had fallen, I ran over and there were many people around. At that time, I tried my best to pull people away and rushed in. When I saw that my grandmother was not particularly big, I cried directly. The filming of that scene was my childhood memory.

One week later, after filming our first scene, I returned to the downtown area for the second scene. I watched people walking in the street. While waiting for filming, I suddenly realized that I knew this city so well, and if I hadn’t left Chongqing for Beijing at the age of seventeen or eight, I would have been Liu Bo. Liu Bo is a single-parent family, living with my mother and grandfather. My mother is a laid-off worker, and so was I when I was a child. At that time, many people around me were laid off, and the children might stop studying in universities and junior colleges, so they dropped out of school early and entered the society to earn money to support their families. This is the case in Liu Bo, but so was I, except that I came to Beijing from Chongqing to start another life. I cried directly in the street that day, and I cry now. Liu Bo is a bit like me. If I don’t leave, I will be like myself in a parallel world.

1905 Movie Network: Is there any deliberate gain in shape?

Chen Kun:I gained weight, and I didn’t wash my face very much during that time. I tried my best to cooperate in styling and eat more to make my stomach fatter.

1905 Movie Network: I heard that you filmed a scene of eating hot pot for a long time. Can you tell me something about the situation at that time?

Chen Kun:It took eight days. It was filmed on the first day, and everyone was running in. Through that scene, they found their own feelings of the characters. Because there was no performance before and after, they played that scene in the middle, so everyone needed more time to run in. The second reason is that this scene is very difficult and subtle. The third is because we also like to shoot longer, and we have hot pot to eat every day, from 9: 00 in the morning to the evening.

1905 Movie Network: You were "fancy-beaten" in the film. Did you get hurt while filming?

Chen Kun:Injuries are relatively normal, they are not particularly big, just twisting and falling. When I fell off the motorcycle, the motorcycle flew forward, and I was pulled back. When I fell, I just lay there and couldn’t get up. I was so shocked that I lay down for at least 20 minutes, and then I couldn’t slow down for two or three hours. But I think this kind of injury is normal, and the actors are relatively happy, especially me. I am very lucky. Now that a famous and rich person has got a favorite role, you haven’t done it seriously. It’s normal to get a little injury. You can’t get everything while lying down. I don’t feel anything wrong at all, including playing Hu Bayi. I don’t think there is any problem with being injured. I always feel that I get more than me.

1905 Movie Network: In the film, you have an emotional scene with Bai Baihe. How does it feel to partner with her?

Chen Kun:I have a particularly deep impression on Bai Baihe, who can accurately express many difficult plays and is very fresh. She is particularly delicate in dealing with emotional scenes. We have a scene in which she fights wits with robbers, and that line and micro-expression are particularly good. Sometimes it’s very important to shoot a play. Her husband is also a good friend of mine. Her children went to the same school as mine. It’s very interesting. I have many topics with her and I like her personality. It’s simple and true, and I don’t hide it.

1905 Movie Network: Before, you said that you would make movies with magical themes within a certain period of time. What’s the new direction now?

Chen Kun:Well, it’s time, and then I want to calm down and think again, feel and try other roles, but other roles need ability to match, and I’m preparing now. It was less than July when I finished filming "Hot Pot Hero". So far, I haven’t filmed, and I have been preparing. People in my team said I wouldn’t film. I said I’d prepare again. I think we should pay attention to filming one. Unless we are particularly out of money, we will lower the standard a little, but it’s ok now.

1905 Movie Network: So what are your criteria for accepting the play now?

Chen Kun:Movies have their own destiny, in fact, everyone has their own destiny, and our acting career also has their own destiny. It may be helpful to make too much effort, but I am lazy and I believe in fate. It’s like "Hot Pot Hero" directed by Qing Yang. He actually visited me once three or four years ago. I turned him down because I had to rest at that time, but I didn’t expect to come to me at last. It was luck and fate. I think what’s yours is yours, and it’s too far-fetched if you don’t fight for it. I want to leave myself alone, because actors will panic after doing it for a long time, so I will try to keep myself stable and don’t want to catch anything so much.

1905 Movie Network: Will you consider letting your son be an actor in the future?

Chen Kun:Judging from his choice, he is still young, only in his teens. I think there should be a really clear direction after graduating from college, unless my son decided to do it long ago, and I am still observing it. I don’t think he will definitely want to be an actor.

In October, the cumulative number of people watching movies in the film market exceeded last year.

1905 movie network news After the overall box office shrinkage in September, the mainland film market in October finally regained its glory. As of October 31, 2017, the total box office in October closed at 5.135 billion yuan, which took 15 days to exceed the total box office score of 3.420 billion in October 2016. The cumulative number of people watching movies in the whole year was 1.386 billion, exceeding the number of people watching movies in 2016. The important reason why the box office performance is so excellent is based on the good box office performance of the National Day file this year. Among them, it won the National Day champion with 1.463 billion yuan, and the cumulative box office has reached 2.1 billion yuan; Then released and two imported blockbusters also have strong "gold absorption" ability. After the National Day file, fresh "blood" is injected every week, which makes the whole October movie market full of vitality.

Domestic films once again exert their strength to predict that the annual box office growth rate will return to double digits.

As of October 31st, the mainland box office closed at 5.135 billion yuan, up 72.49% from September this year and up 49.93% from last October. On October 1st, the highest single-day box office in October was 384 million yuan, an increase of about 100 million yuan over last year. The cumulative box office of China film market in 2017 has reached 47.881 billion yuan, and the total box office this year is expected to reach 55 billion yuan. According to this calculation, the box office growth rate of Chinese films will return to double-digit growth, exceeding 10%.

A total of 40 films were released this month, including 31 domestic films and 9 imported films. A total of 8 films have grossed over 100 million yuan, an increase of 2 over last month. Most domestic films were released in October, and performed well, with a total of 3.943 billion yuan, accounting for 76.79% of the total box office, of which 2.577 billion yuan was collected in the National Day file. High-quality domestic films also performed well after the schedule, and "Shameful Iron Fist" was still ranked in the top of the weekly box office list in the second week of October. Except for the two Hollywood blockbusters "Ace Agent 2: Golden Circle" and "Global Storm", the non-Hollywood Thai films were released for 10 days, with a box office of over 200 million yuan, with good reputation and remarkable achievements.

"Mahua FunAge" laughed till the end and became the largest ticket warehouse in Global Storm.

This month, "Shameless Iron Fist" won the monthly box office list without any suspense, and the cumulative box office reached 2.136 billion yuan on the first day of its release at the end of September, which not only became the third film to enter the "2 billion yuan box office club" this year, but also became the highest box office.

2D movies.

"Chasing the Dragon" achieved a counterattack with a good reputation. This month, it surpassed the popular film of the National Day file with a box office of 528 million, ranking second; Although the highly anticipated "Ace Agent: Golden Circle" ranks fourth in the monthly box office list, its word-of-mouth is not as good as the previous one, and it is difficult to catch up with the box office.

The Global Storm, which grossed only $13.7 million in the first week in North America, got a big turnaround in China. After being released for seven days, the mainland film market has become the largest ticket warehouse in the world, which is three times that of the first week in North America. The China market, which has a good reputation abroad, suffered a terrible defeat. This sci-fi film with a slight literary temperament made most viewers fail to get its point. More fans praised it, with a box office of $200 million in North America and less than 60 million in the mainland movie market, ranking at the bottom of the monthly TOP10.

The only co-produced film in the top ten is Jackie Chan, which has been in the second place for five days before it was released in the mainland, until it was overtaken by "Chasing the Dragon", with a cumulative box office of 535 million yuan. Although this film, which is not quite like Jackie Chan’s previous style, received a mediocre response in China, it earned $13.11 million (the third in North America) in the first weekend after it was released in North America, and the box office in North America is currently $29.39 million (195 million RMB). At the same time, the cumulative box office of the film in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other countries has reached nearly 7 million US dollars, and it has won the single-day box office champion in Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and other countries for many days.

High attendance is the magic weapon to win, and high-quality viewing experience is more popular.

The TOP10 ranking of cinemas in this month has basically not changed much from that in September. Due to the rebound of box office in October, the box office of the top ten cinemas increased by about 50% on average compared with last month. In descending order, Guangdong Dadi Cinema and China Film Digital Cinema ranked in the top two, but their average number of people per theater did not reach 20. Although wanda cinema line ranked third, its average number of people per theater reached as many as 27, and its high attendance rate also became a major reason for its ranking first in cinema.

As of October 30th, the number of effective cinemas nationwide reached 8,638 this month, an increase of 103 compared with last month. The ranking of cinemas in October was also slightly different from that of last month. Among them, Wukesong Store of Beijing Yaolai Jackie Chan International Studios returned to the top of the list as the only cinema exceeding 10 million this month. In the case of an overall increase in the number of people watching movies in October, the number of people watching movies in Shanghai Paragon Studios (apm) decreased by 5.27% instead of increasing, which led to the ranking falling from the first place last month to the ninth place this month; Beijing Wanda Studios CBD store failed to make the list; IMAX Studios in Changying Street of Lumiere entered the list for the first time.

Among the top ten films this month, there are as many as seven IMAX films. We have noticed that the newly listed IMAX Studios in Changying Street of Lumiere reached 88,700 people this month, an increase of nearly 30,000 people over last month. In terms of ticket price, the average ticket price of this cinema in October is 52 yuan, which is 6 yuan lower than that in September, and compared with other IMAX cinemas in Beijing, such as Beijing Capital Cinema (54 yuan) and Beijing UME Studios Shuangjing Store (63 yuan), the ticket price is relatively low; On the other hand, this cinema is a relatively new one that has been in operation for two years, and the environment is comfortable. The representative cinemas are IMAX Hall and LD Dolby Panoramic Sound Hall. The comfortable viewing environment and cost-effective ticket prices may make this cinema a better choice for the audience to watch IMAX movies.

More than 100 million provinces have increased to 19 cities with four lines and below, and the box office has increased significantly.

In terms of regions, the number of provinces with over 100 million yuan this month increased from 10 in September to 19, and the box office of all provinces increased by more than 40%. Fujian Province fell from the 10th place last month to the 13th place this month, with Guangdong Province having the largest box office increase of 43%. Among the provinces that have newly joined the ranks of over 100 million yuan, Henan Province has the largest box office growth, accounting for 81.15 million yuan.

In terms of cities, although the box office of all levels of cities has increased, the proportion of first-tier cities has decreased by 5.33 percentage points compared with last month, and the proportion of box office in fourth-tier cities and other cities has increased significantly, nearly doubling the box office; The proportion of box office in second-and third-tier cities was basically the same as last month. Due to the joining of the National Day file this month, the number of migrant workers in first-tier cities has returned home, which has led to a decline in box office in first-tier cities, while the box office in fourth-tier cities and other cities has increased substantially, which is a normal phenomenon.

In October, it became the world of domestic films, and "Shameful Iron Fist" undoubtedly became the biggest winner. Although several imported films are slightly dim, in November, there will be classic films starring Johnny Depp and DC superhero films, which will set off a new wave of imported films.

I have to run 9 times to stop my mobile phone for my late father-in-law? Mobile customer service apologizes

The pictures in this article are provided by the respondents.

On October 27th, Mr. Tang from Youxian District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province broke the news to The Paper, saying that he had made nine trips to different mobile business halls in order to help his late father-in-law handle the mobile phone shutdown business in the mobile business hall, and it finally took nearly a month to successfully handle it.

In response to the situation reflected by Mr. Tang, on the afternoon of 27th, the customer service staff of China Mobile’s Mianyang 10086 hotline replied to The Paper, saying that if there were any irregularities in handling the shutdown business, they would first apologize on behalf of the local mobile business hall, and would also feed back the relevant information to relevant departments.

  Local China Mobile Customer Services

Mr. Tang told The Paper that his father-in-law died of cirrhosis on September 23 this year. In order to prevent his father-in-law’s mobile phone from incurring further expenses and to untie the family package bound by his family as soon as possible, he went to the mobile business hall near home to handle related business on September 25.

By consulting the local mobile business hall, Mr. Tang learned that the package business handled by his father-in-law had to pay about 170 yuan every month, and he was given 1200 minutes of talk time every month, which was bound for 2 years.

"If you want to handle the downtime, you must first untie it, and you must pay the liquidated damages near 480 yuan." Mr. Tang questioned whether it is reasonable to pay a certain penalty to handle the shutdown business because the person has passed away and this number cannot be directly cancelled.

Mr. Tang said that after expressing his confusion to the business hall consulted at that time, the other party told him that the two-year package could not be cancelled, and he had to go to the mobile business hall to handle it.

When Mr. Tang went to the mobile business hall near his home for the second time, he was told by the other party that he would not accept it and needed to go to China Mobile Business Hall in Shenjiaba.

When Mr. Tang went to China Mobile Business Hall in Shenjiaba, Youxian District, Mianyang for the third time, the other party told him that he needed to bring his father-in-law’s death certificate and other relevant documents before he could cancel the registration. When Mr. Tang went home for the fourth time, he was told by the other party that he needed to take the TV set-top box, wireless network optical cat and other materials bound to his father-in-law’s phone number to the business hall.

Mr. Tang recalled that in the mobile business hall of Shenjiaba, he was repeatedly rejected for reasons such as "not carrying enough materials" and "rushing to handle it and being told that it was 18: 30 after work". "They didn’t tell me what I needed to take at one time. They ran to tell me once, just like squeezing toothpaste, so they tossed it back and forth for seven times and finally failed."

On October 23rd, when Mr. Tang came to Shenjiaba Mobile Business Hall for the ninth time, he finally paid 50 yuan’s unbinding fee and deducted the phone bill for one month, and the shutdown business was successfully handled.

Mr. Tang said that during the nine trips to the business hall, he complained to the 10086 hotline, but did not get effective feedback.

A live recording provided by Mr. Tang showed that Mr. Tang had reported to the salesman in the mobile business hall that he had made seven trips to untie the business, and the staff replied in person, "Did I ask you to run seven trips?" I just got the list today. "

On the 27th, The Paper called the relevant person in charge of the Shenjiaba business hall of China Mobile by text message and telephone for many times. The other party said that it was "inconvenient to disclose" and refused to interview.

On the afternoon of 27th, China Mobile’s 10086 customer service staff told The Paper that they needed to bring the death certificate issued by the police station and the ID card of the handler, and go to China Mobile’s self-run business hall to negotiate and handle related business. The non-self-run business hall was not qualified to handle this business.

The aforementioned customer service staff of China Mobile 10086 also said that it is not troublesome to handle this business. "Just bring your mobile phone, but the business in each region is different.". As for the business opened on the mobile phone account of the deceased owner, he said, "You can negotiate with our staff. This is human feelings and should be handled."

Dreaming of "One Belt, One Road"? Why did he choose to start a business in Africa?

CCTV News:"Strive to reach 15,000 employees in Aetna (Ethiopia) by the end of 2019." Qian Anhua, chairman of Antai Group, has set the goal of starting a business this year. This textile enterprise from Zhejiang, China, has been planning to invest in Ethiopia since the second half of 2017. It plans to invest 200 million US dollars in three phases to establish a complete production base from fabric production to garment processing in Adama, 80 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

In October 2018, Antai Ethiopian Branch successfully completed the opening ceremony in Adama Industrial Park, overcoming many difficulties and successfully put into production. On December 30, 2018, the first box export ceremony of Antai Ethiopia Branch ended perfectly, becoming the first foreign-funded enterprise in Adama Industrial Park to realize foreign exchange earning through export. At present, Aetna Ethiopian Branch covers an area of 140,000 square meters, including a factory area of over 80,000 square meters and more than 3,000 employees.

From February to August, 2018, Antai Ethiopia Branch sent 100 Ethiopian college students to Antai Headquarters in Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province for skills training. After a year’s hard work, most trainees have gradually taken up management positions and become the local backbone of the company in Ethiopia.

Since Antai Ethiopian Branch officially settled in Adama Industrial Park in September 2018, it has recruited about 1,500 people from surrounding villages to help the local government solve the re-employment problem of relocated farmers in the industrial park. Local farmers have started their career transformation from unemployment to employment. After one year’s vocational training, employees’ concept of survival and life has also changed, from being lazy and uninhibited, taking time off at will to going to work on time, helping each other and being friendly, and they have become the new model of Ethiopia.

There is no public transportation in the local area, and some employees walk 5 kilometers to work. In order to encourage and promote employment, Aetna Ethiopia Company invested in renting buses to pick up employees and solve the problem of workers’ difficulties in going to work.

Due to the backward infrastructure in local rural areas, most families use donkeys or manpower to transport water from water sources 5-10 kilometers away. In order to solve the problem of drinking water for employees, they buy drinking water from the market for employees to drink, becoming the first company in Adama to solve the safety of drinking water for employees. In March 2019, when the rainy season came, the company distributed raincoats to every employee free of charge, caring for every detail, and putting every employee in the heart, hoping that they would be proud "Antai people".

This international and humanized management mode has been strongly commended by Adama Municipal Government.

"Knowing is the beginning of doing, and doing is the achievement of knowing." Antai Textile settled in Ethiopia and became a real map of the "Belt and Road" construction.

Foreign friends taste Chengdu hot pot. This newspaper information picture

The beauty of harmony and soup lies in the similarities and differences. From May 15th to 22nd, Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival, with the theme of "Eating Beauty, Seeking Fragrance, Being Beautiful, Being Beautiful Together", promoted the dialogue among civilizations of Asian countries with food as the medium.

A delicious food implies the code of cultural exchange and cultural integration, and a city often transcends geographical limitations because of a delicious food and becomes the reason why people all over the world "flock to it". Under the framework of the Conference on Dialogue among Asian Civilizations, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Chengdu jointly hosted the Asian Food Festival, taking food as a link between Asian civilizations and promoting the exchange and mutual learning among Asian civilizations.

MengMeng’s panda is chubby, with red pepper on his head, wearing a "face-changing" robe, honoring the world’s diners and coming to Rong’s first meal from the guests — — Tianfu family banquet, to the opening ceremony that kicked off in the song … … During the eight days of Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival, 45 splendid food cultural activities were staged intensively in Chengdu, which also aroused people’s deep resonance — — The "International Food Capital" belongs to both Chengdu and the world.

Food is the medium.

45 activities in 5 major sections are endorsed by food.

There are 45 activities in five sections: cultural special exhibition, celebrity chef exchange, fragrance-seeking trip, theme day and food forum. During the food festival, Chengdu spoke for itself with food and welcomed guests from all over the world with open arms. The passionate Sichuan cuisine and hot pot have given friends from far away the feeling of "going home".

As the welcome dinner of Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival, Tianfu Family Banquet made guests feel "at home" in the cultural experience of Sichuan cuisine from the first meal. In an immersive dining experience, 16 Sichuan dishes, such as fish fillets with light shadow, Sichuan style pork and Mapo tofu, were put on the table, and the guests were honored with a sense of culture and interaction with local characteristics. As Claremont from Paris praised, "The most delicious food in the world comes from China, and the most delicious food is in Chengdu."

Chengdu people prefer Sichuan cuisine and hot pot, but they never reject the food from outside. In this city, local cuisines can take this as their home, sublime and finally present a different flavor. Thailand on the tip of the tongue, Israel on the tip of the tongue, and Korea on the tip of the tongue … … During the food festival, Thailand, Israel, Singapore, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea and other countries and regions competed to show their special food and culture in Chengdu, which made the guests start a wonderful journey of tasting the taste of "hometown", "mother" and "Asia" again and again.

At the "Celebrity Chef’s Club" event, 18 famous chefs from China, Singapore, Japan, Israel, South Korea, India and other countries and regions gathered together to show off their specialty dishes, such as coconut milk rice, curry crab, Indian-style pomegranate roast chicken skewers, bird’s nest chicken wings, seafood miso soup, Tianfu Sichuan style pork, etc., which are full of delicious and mouth-watering.

In the Cooking Skills Competition of the 2nd International Young Students Cooking Art Festival, culinary students from China, Hubei, Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichuan, South Korea, Thailand and other countries and regions displayed their skills on the spot and had a "color, fragrance" competition.

Not only that, well-known specialty restaurants in the United States, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and other countries, such as Beverly Hills, Arcadia, Irvine, Universal Studios and Baldwin Park, also joined the event to "cook" a different flavor for Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival.

Fusion innovation

Chengdu has always been a pioneer in the exchange of food culture.

Since ancient times, the rich and in-depth exchanges and dialogues between Asian civilizations have left many brilliant highlights: the Silk Road witnessed the commercial exchanges between Asian civilizations, and the sound of camel bells still echoes in my ears; The history, culture and system construction of East Asia were deeply influenced by Chinese civilization, and the systems of rites and music, imperial examinations and laws were widely used … … In these high-light moments, the most important thing is food exchange, which is a typical epitome of Asian civilization exchanges and dialogues. Its beautiful experience can touch both taste buds and hearts.

At the 2019 China (Chengdu) International Food Culture Summit Forum held on May 15th, Liu Chengcheng, an associate researcher of Peking University Cultural Industry Research Institute, believed that food is an important carrier of cultural exchange and city image display, and plays an important role in international communication. "Nowadays, with the promotion of technology and industry, food and tourism, cultural creativity, art, science and technology, marketing and communication and other industries show a trend of integrated development."

City is the advanced form of human civilization, and it is also the main participant in the communication and dialogue between civilizations. For the city, food is both a symbol and a deep memory, which constitutes the city’s unique cultural character. As the "soul" of Sichuan cuisine, pepper is imported, but Chengdu people use it to the extreme in catering, which shows that the city is tolerant and open. In an interview with a reporter, Professor Yanwei Keshi of the Japanese Chefs Association told the reporter, "I feel the enthusiasm and generosity of Sichuanese from Mapo tofu."

In fact, as the first "gourmet capital" in Asia, Chengdu has always been a pioneer in the exchange and integration of food civilization. Being a pioneer has something to do with the city’s rich food heritage. Sichuan cuisine pays attention to the sum of sex and taste, and eclecticism, integration and innovation have always been the core of Chengdu food culture.

According to research, Sichuan cuisine originated in the ancient Bashu civilization 4000 years ago. In the process of evolution, Sichuan cuisine has continuously absorbed foreign ingredients and cooking methods through the Southern Silk Road and nine immigration waves in Chengdu’s history, learned from others, and continued to integrate and innovate to lay its present situation — — "One dish, one grid, one hundred dishes and one hundred flavors", the flavor type is ever-changing.

Shejian signboard

The unique expression of Chengdu’s charm on the world stage

In the process of translating "food" into "gourmet", it has not only carried the local spiritual outlook, but also been endowed with more innovative, social and cultural attributes, and has assumed the supporting function of regional economic development, and even become a "tongue-tip signboard" for city image marketing.

Today, Chengdu is building an international food capital with a global vision. According to the "2019 Chinese mainland City Shopping Index List" released during the Food Festival, the number of catering enterprises in Chengdu ranks third in the country, and the shopping index ranks fourth in the country. In terms of the number of catering enterprises in Chinese mainland in 2019, Chengdu ranked third in the country with nearly 200,000.

At the same time, Chengdu is also the city with the largest number of domestic and foreign catering brands in the western region of China. The "eight major cuisines" of China and catering brands of most countries in the world have blossomed and developed in Chengdu. On May 9, Meituan commented on the data of a group of Asian cuisines in Chengdu: from the end of 2014 to the end of 2018, the number of Asian restaurants in Chengdu increased by 8.3 times.

"When we talk about a city, we are always inseparable from the local community and culture, and these authentic foods are indispensable for understanding the city." Carolina&ensp, Director of Creative Economy Department of UNCTAD; Quintana said in an interview that food is the expression of urban competitiveness.

Chengdu has long planned to turn food into the competitiveness and brand identity of the city. As early as the life service industry development conference held at the beginning of last year, Chengdu proposed that by 2022, the catering industry should become one of the five billion-level consumer markets. In September last year, Chengdu held a conference on the construction of a world famous cultural city, which once again proposed that we should condense the spirit of the urban times, follow the laws of urban development, and shape the international signs of a world famous cultural and creative city, a famous tourist city, a famous event city, an international food city, a music city city and an exhibition city, so as to enhance urban cultural communication and global communication.

Thousands of years of cultural infiltration have nurtured the profound connotation of Chengdu’s leisure capital and shaped the distinctive characteristics of "living city". This unique cultural beauty has been deeply infiltrated into every food in Chengdu, which is not only a unique expression of Chengdu’s charm on the world stage, but also a brand of the city’s cross-border and language exchange and display.
