Qin Shuhao told reporters that in recent years, the research team of the Institute has focused on the development of low-cost sulfide electrolyte material batch preparation process, ultra-thin electrolyte continuous film-making process, battery system screening, and batch preparation process of 50Ah power battery. It is expected that the industrial production of solid-state lithium batteries can be realized in 2023.
According to the statistics of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, the installed capacity of power lithium batteries in China will reach a new high in 2020, reaching 63.6GWh. China’s lithium-ion batteries have a good development momentum. If solid-state lithium-ion batteries replace traditional lithium-ion batteries, there will be huge market space in the future.

The "eat dry and squeeze out" of agricultural waste is the successful practice of the provincial material industry research institute to explore the green circular economy model. Using agricultural wastes such as straw and rice husk as raw materials, a bio-fertilizer containing biochar, humus and beneficial microorganisms was developed, and then spun into ingots, molded by poly-plastic, and manufactured into finished products.
